Right click on any device and make sure "show disabled devices" does NOT have a check by it. ![]() This shows a list of everything that your computer thinks can play audio. Right click the sound icon in your taskbar and click "sounds".Īt the top, click on the "playback" tab. We'll be going back to the same control panel we did in Fix 1. This shouldn't fix this problem, but I'll be damned if it didn't work for some unholy reason. If not, proceed to fix 2.įix 2: Disable unused audio devices in windows sound control panel. Try starting up Worms and see if that fixed it. You should see the old-school windows menu for sounds.Īt the top, click on the tab labeled "Communications". Right click the volume icon in your taskbar, and click "sounds". It didn't work for me, but hey, maybe you'll be lucky.) (This is normally the first fix for ANY game that does this. There are two fixes for this I will list the simplest fix first.įix 1: Turn off audio ducking in windows sound control panel. This is commonly used for when you use software for voice communication (Skype, discord, etc.). This is called "audio ducking", where a program is allowed to tell windows that it's audio is more important, and lowers the volume levels of everything else. I hope this helps anyone who is struggling to get your wireless PS3 controller to work with Worms Reloaded using the "SCP Toolkit Driver".Ok, so here's the problem: Whenever A multiplayer lobby is joined, all other PC audio gets turned wayyy down. If you test it you will soon see what I mean. Not sure if it's a glitch with Reloaded but the double tap to backflip works the opposite as all other Worms games I have used my PS3 controller with in that you must face the opposite direction before using the double-tap jump. Remember every controller SHARES control at all times so be nice and play fair! haha You should now be able to navigate the menus and use the PS3 controller in-game.Ĥ. Press the PS3 button on each controller successively to connect to your bluetooth dongle or plug them in one at a time. Fire up Worms Reloaded and get to the main menu with the mouse/keyboard.ģ. ![]() ![]() Make sure the controllers are off! (hold Ps3 button for 10 seconds) or unplug them all.Ģ. I use a PS3 controller(wirelessly) with the SCPToolkit driver and managed to get it to work by doing the following.ġ. I realize this is an old thread but wanted to clear a few things up in case people are trying to google this problem for not only with xbox360 controllers but also PS3 controllers. I'm sorry if this doesn't help you at all, the game does list "partial controller support" so I'm sure it is a little wonky and may not support all controllers but after i configured mine by doing the steps i explained above, I tested it all out and it was great! I switched out of the game window to actually write a post on this specific thread (which I have now deleted) and when i went back to the game window the controller arrows on the D-pad WORKED! Then i went back into the controller config. I went to the help/optioins menu in-game, and clicked on the controller icon and still it wasn't configuring. I have the Windows controller that works and looks identeical to the xbox 360 controller. I have an xbox 360 controller plugged in but the game doesn't seem to recognize it, any help?
